Hate crimes make big news these days. Yet it's always been okay to hate someone. It's just a matter of who it's okay to ridicule and despise today. There are always certain people who are unprotected. Sometimes people face discrimination for things over which they have no control. Pastor Bussert tells about the story of the Canaanite woman who spoke to Jesus. How Jesus doesn't discriminate, He only cares about faith.
We should remember 2 things: (1) Let us not despise or scorn or hate those whom God accepts and (2) Let us remember that our Lord listens to and favorably regards all who come to Him in faith.
